The Monkey Logo
The monkey logo was created by me back in 2005 around late October during 3rd period whitch was geography class I did a lot of drawings in that class unfortuatly I hadnt taken out my notebook to draw rather I was stupidly drawing on my desk (I was bored lol) and I didn't have time to transfer it to paper I really liked it and I knew it wasn't like my other drawings that mostly consisted of 3d cubes odd patterns and stick figures having slapfights so I had to get this monkey but I didnt have time to re-draw it so I took a photo of it with my phone the only problem is that even though my phone was on silent it still makes a shutter sound :\ my teacher quickly noticed and confiscated it just after the photo had been taken, at the same time she saw my stupid drawings on the desk and told me to erase them I was very pissed at this I may never see the monkey again. Eventually I had my mom come in to get my phone back and I was very happy (and lucky) to have my monkey still so then there was the name Lucky Monkey :D One of my uncles had a copyright for a drawing he had back in 2004 but wasnt going to renew it but he gave it to me and I kept it for my monkey (I mean really the monkey is awsome im gonna keep it) and I've been sending $30 to the national archives every year since so i can keep this as my own thats why the copyright is from 2004 when the monkey was made in 05) nuff said..
Flash Animation
My first experience with flash is from a friend of mine back in school around late 2005 she was cool and showed me lots of stuff on the web eventually the internet meme badgerbadgerbadger.com showed up after that I found out who created this wonderful piece of work weebls-stuff.com a european flash video site i was instantly watching videos from them afer a while of magical trevor and salad fingers there was the video the ultimate showdown I kept watching this video and somehow found newgrounds.com this website was full of all different videos and is adding about 15 of them every minute I thought that this was great and I had moved to regular visits to the site eventually the flash Animator vs Animation was featured on the front page *CLICK after watching I had realized that the program looked fairly easy to use so i got it afer that I started to use it I WAS WRONG i was bad at drawing in the first place even worse at flash and couldnt figure out the animation aspect of it but I kept on trying at it soon I went to the library and got a few books these taught me a few things such as how to make the next frame of video and how to make symbols so I had gotten some but still very little animation down i went on to make a few videos whitch I uploaded to newgrounds they really sucked so they got blammed but at least I always got comments and they sometimes helped me and after that I learned tweening and onion skinning and other tequniqes that helped and afer that I learned how to make buttons and even add actionscript I am stil not too great at flash but it is nice to have around and I can make some cool stuff with it :/
